Spatial distribution of cultural ecosystem services demand and supply in urban and suburban areas: A case study from Shanghai, China

In the urban ecosystem, demand for cultural ecosystem services (CES) has greatly increased, and imbalance of CES supply been prominent. This paper integrated multi-source data to analyze visualize spatial differences in capacity between Shanghai center suburbs. Based on geo-tagged photo data, distribution four types demand, Recreation & tourism (RTS) Aesthetic (AS) Heritage (HCS) Spiritual religious (SRS) were analyzed. Residents tourists had a strong recreation tourism, agglomeration effect was most obvious. Overall, more concentrated center, while suburbs relatively discrete. At same time, there under areas near Huangpu River Results from bivariate Moran’s I method showed: 1) significant positive correlation center; 2) external impact demand; 3) increase can promote growth demand.
